ok so - I for one wasn't all THAT impressed by Tom's stint - to be fair - they should have made him follow a "direction" for his dish where he had to make up what he was making "on the fly" like all the quick fire challenges. he had that dish composed in his head and down pat WAY before he arrived at the kitchen that day - I'd bank on it.
Second - was it just me or did Padma's eyes glitter a bit in satisfaction as she told Casey to go home tonight? So many chefs tonight picked really odd things to make given the constraints of time for that challenge to be pulled off ... poor Casey just picked the worst protein ever to try to execute - and then had to rely on someone else to do it - big huge mistake.
I was relieved Carla wasn't sent home - would LOVE to see her in the finals again.
Lastly, wondering if Blais is at all getting bummed about not winning anything when IMHO he should be killing it.
This is a great season!
