Honestly, it's just to get names into the coaching pool. Teams recycle names so much, forcing them to interview people not already in the old boy net

work gets new names into the pool. It might not get the interviewee into the Miami job, but the next job that opens up, his name is in that pool, and now, who knows, maybe.
