I know that, but I also know that finishing as planned is important to some people. he's a smart guy, one who likely knows that

a lot of people do not go back when they expect to, etc.
if he's passionate about his non-football interests, that's a consideration.
the money/injury discussion needs to address that, too. what happens after, ya know?
