Well, two things: 1) If I like it, better to get a head-start now and then be able to cruise through summer ... and 2) Victoria has a mild climate

At least compared to, say, Tofino, or the Queen Charlottes.
Tomorrow it's going to be 14 and sunny at the airport, so probably about 8 and sunny on the water, maybe with a small amount of fog. Pretty darn cold for being outside for six hours, but bearable.
It's the Nov 8th date that I'm worried about :)
(Oct 18 and 25th are the other two days)
