My favourite memory of this is two people (bf and gf it seemed) are running to the train just as the doors are closing.

BF makes it inside, and stops immediately with a big look of relief on his face. GF has to stop very suddenly. The doors close and she is on the wrong side of them, and is left behind as the train leaves.
