it's not for everyone, besides he had already promised to stay another year and is keeping his word. Announcers gan get bounced around since the

networks are quite fickle and will let go people if the ratings waver just a bit.
with his program at stanford it's pretty unlikely that he's the type that could be ready to be on camera any time soon.
