If he turns pro tomorrow and there is no training camp and limited preseason practices, he heads in 2011 either as a backup or a starter trying to get by purely on talent.
You're summarily dismissing preparation as being integral to the success of professionals, which blows me away.
The last time it went this far, we had scab players for a month. Just think about that for a second before you say, "Oh, the labor situation doesn't matter."
