Well, frankly, yes. If I turn a $20M engineering job down, because I want to finish my degree, knowing full well that there's a good chance I don't

get that offer again after the degree, it's a silly *financial* decision. It might be the right decision for me, and it's completely my right to make it, but that simply doesn't negate the fact that *financially* it's a gamble.
