In response to "bonus hax chat q: her six-year old daughter saw one of those hearstring-tugging ASPCA commercials and now wants to give all her piggybank money to it" by fredo

It's her money, let her spend it how she wishes. We often take Connor to the shelter where Ashlee's moms volunteer and explain to him what they're

doing. And when we go to Petsmart and the card machine asks if we want to donate a dollar, or whatever, we ask him "do you want to donate a dollar to help out the kitties and puppies that don't have homes?" He always says yes, and very happily so. It's not his money he's donating, yet, but we think it's important to encourage a charitable heart at a young age, and he loves animals so much that whether he fully comprehends it all he seems to be very happy knowing he's helping an animal that isn't lucky enough to have a loving home like our animals, yet.
