I'm not one to argue with Sarah Connor, but she's wrong about Cabeza de Vaca.

Apropos of nothing, but I studied Cabeza de Vaca in school. If he had landed "on the shores of the New World" (probably in the Tampa Bay area, actually) in 1490, he'd have been here two years before Columbus. The writers of this week's episode didn't read their Wikipedia closely enough. Cabeza de Vaca was BORN in 1490. He landed on the Gulf Coast in the early 1500's.
