I'm cool with it. If an employee chooses to make a public ass of themselves, it affects the company.

At the very least, it shows exceptionally poor judgment on the part of the employee. If it's McDonald's, then maybe that's not an issue. But if it's a job that requires a responsible individual and that individual is showing an inordinate amount of irresponsibility, it's time to can their ass.
