I know most of you don't care, but I want to talk about something. we have this really strict academic integrity policy in my college
|
-- the university has one, but the college of business has a stricter one and we have to honor code every deliverable and even oral presentation.
in my undergrad class, we have online quizzes.
this semester, many of my undergrads came to me after quizzes closed, saying "hey I took the quiz, but I have no grade in the system. I got an 85%" and I would log in to our course management system, see that they had not logged in and tell them this. they would then go away. only one ever even tried to make an excuse. nobody apologized.
I think this is a violation of academic integrity. am I wrong, do you think?

I would mention it to someone the way you did here without names (for now). That is cheating, definitely. -- nm

If they're that stupid, there's no way they got an 85. -- nm

Next time maybe they'll offer sex for the 85% grade from you.
