There is a statute...but there's nothing confirming they're collecting on that 10 year old card. This could be a newer card that someone opened in

his name. That's why he needs to get an account #, card # or something to research.

Now, if it IS that 10 year old card...then they'll lean on him as hard as possible to see if they can bully him into paying, because they know they have no other recourse.
