like, really, you might not believe me....
1 - Dave's dad, brain surgery: total success. he's awake, talking, and able to move better than he could a month ago. Yeah!
2 - remember the two year old whose funeral I had to go to on New Year's Eve? Well, he was actually just shy of his second birthday, he would have been two on Jan 11th - earlier this week. his parents weren't actually married, so they got married on his birthday AT THE CEMETARY. my mother just called to tell me. she was totally flabberghsasted, but i said that i can't imagine their grief and if that's how they had to get through the day, then, more power to them.
but wait! there's more! Sheldon (the baby's father) has three step siblings (I know all these people well - for years we had Christmas at their house when Sheldon was a teenager). Anyway, the youngest of them (Todd) is about 20. His girlfriend went into labour AT THE WEDDING CEREMONY, AT THE CEMETARY, at had a baby girl the next day. Her name is EVONY.
i need a drink.
