Revenge of the Mayonnaise

So I thought you might get a kick out of this.

But two or three weeks ago before Christmas, I had a really nasty bout of food poisoning. I couldn�t at the time figure out from what though. I had only eaten out in that time period once or twice. And mostly had made sandwiches at home (w mayo).

So two nights ago, I was about to make a sandwich and I grabbed the mayo. And before I used it, I�m like let me check the expiration date, as I knew it was several weeks since I had last used it and I am total nutter when it comes to using *anything* that is even remotely close to the expiration date.

Turns out, the last time I used it, I either didn�t check or I misread the bottle. But the expiration date was from 4/2010!!

I almost threw up right on the spot when I realized it.

And yes, 8 month past the expiration date mayo *really* fmeses your system up!
