lung problems wouldn't let up afaik, but heart problems come and go like that. IDEA, stop by a fire dept, they will do a blood pressure test no prob

this is a good idea. also, many pharmacies (maybe walmart?) offer free BP screening. however, this is NOT a substitute for seeing a doc. -- nm

drugstores have a DIY machine, firemen are EMS trained and are first responders when someone's having a major event, so they have a lot more face time
