In a vacuum, Angelo can cook. In team competitions in his season as well as in the current one, Angelo has demonstrated that he is a me first chef with a knack for getting others eliminated. Think back to the US Open challenge as an example. Angelo is not a team player and his presence on a team can weaken it. If Angelo feels the ship is sinking, he runs to the lifejackets and leaves others to drown. Picking him over Blais was an indefensible mistake.
