It was almost similar to getting your dog. The one my son first wanted (actually the cat picked Trevor)

was on hold...He was disappointed, but then he kept coming back to Trevor and the cat let Trevor pick him up.
The cat never left Trevors side since last night

I wonder if cats adjust quicker to new environments than dogs.

they totally are. the social bonds cats form are way more fungible than the ones dogs form....nm
