And unfortunately, most of them are very misleading....

You can make money at some of them but its never in the sort of amounts that they claim. The envelope stuffing ones are crap as an example.
If you are wanting to work from home, I recommend starting your own business. You are more likely to make money that way. Visit your local SBA office and they can provide some insight for you.
