What kinda stuff do you have on it? I just use an external HD with a back-up system.

Nothing all that important, just various documents, movies, music, etc..the usual crap. I have an external hd but I worry about that crashing too and

I tried Carbonite and found it way too resource intensive. Then Crashplan, and didn't really like that. I use Moxy now and prefer it greatly.

I'd go online. Onsite backups are fine until someone breaks in and steals both your computer and your backup. -- nm
