WTF, your landlord is an asshat. Directv can put up the second dish, run both lines to the wall, connect them and put them in the same hole. Then all you have to have is an upgraded R-22 (minimum) dvr or the HD DVR and you can automatically record 2 and watch a 3rd (recorded) show at the same time. That's also the only way you can get "on demand" stuff. You should get the info off the website and show it to him. We only have one small hole coming into our house in the corner of the livingroom and the bedroom dvr is wireless.
