Exactly. Take your boy, for instance. He was mediocre at best in Cleveland, his first gig (36-44).

Cowher went 53-27 in his first 5 head coaching seasons. Tomlin's 43-21 in his first 4 seasons.
Without looking up further stats...that's a pretty amazing run of luck for 1st time coaches...when you think of all the other great coaches, they usually flamed out somewhere before becoming great.
