Well, all the old tropes are coming out as the grip of power is being clinged too. "Propaganda", Israeli spys, etc.

I think Egypt's been under the radar for so long, they don't yet get just how closely people are watching. And I'll be honest, were it not for Twitter, I wouldn't be either because "revolution in some country" is so easy to compartmentalize when all I read is a couple of online headlines and catch five minutes on the nightly news. Three years ago, I think they get away with it a lot more. Following it in real time, I can't help but keep the focus on it.
