First of all, Yeehaw Junction didn't even have a high school.

Second, most kids were pulled out of school after 8th grade to work in the fields.
Third, when I went back after I got my MBA when I was 31 to visit a favorite teacher who was retiring, she started crying and said, "I'm so glad you came back, now I know that one person broke the cycle."
