Just a quick quibble....those are injuries from those; not deaths.

Some studies estimate a million Emergency room visits a year for bike accidents; which places it top of your list for child-accidents.

morever, you can prevent many of the most severe bike accidents by wearing helmets; just as you can prevent many drowning accidents by teaching water safety and life-vests.
