cause Anthony in the off time from Van Halen went and played a couple of shows with Sammy....

this was before Sammy and Micheal started The Other Ones and Chickenfoot....Ed went 'you can't be in two bands' and forced Anthony out...in fact Anthony was a hired gun on the last Van Halen tour with Sammy that ended with Ed drinking really heavy....
