sentiment is lovely and an emotional treasure, do more of this, bounce the flash off a side wall or use a window light. I mean its a fine image but it doesn't say to a potential consumer, I need to pay money to get an image like this because I couldn't do this myself with my own camera.

I don't mean to be nasty, but I used to do this for a living and i used to sit on panels and judge professional photogs.
