This is what I'm thinking. I mean the Texas deal for ARod is what fucked up the landscape so bad in the first place...

and they were bidding against themselves...which is what the Cards are doing right now.
The thing that scares me is that Albert's agent, left his firm (a la Jerry McGuire) with his 1 blue chip client. I'm afraid, for even more personal reasons than normal, the agent is counting on that $300mil payday.
