clearly, my warped sense of what is flirty/funny is not registering well - and humor totally wins me over in most every situation - snarky, dry, witty, obscure, etc etc etc - so I'm not going to be a very good advice giver I guess. :( *shrugs* - but I'm crossing my fingers for you ok? ^5
