ST, Did I do right?

My mother send pictures of her living furniture that had been re-arranged (to me and my brother) asking for opinions, saying she wasn't sure about it.

When I called her this evening to wish her a happy VD, she asked if I saw the pictures, and as I looked at them, I told her I didn't like the look of the layout.

She said everyone else tells her it looks good, but that she hasn't been able to convince herself yet and that she's trying to adjust.

Did I do right being honest, or should I have reassured and just told her it was fine?
