It's not that the show is terrible or anything, but it just tries way too hard

to be hip. There are many funny bits about HIMYM but as I'm watching it, I constantly feel like they are trying so. damn. hard. to start pop culture memes.
It's maybe 10th on a list of current sitcoms (which isn't bad), so I just don't have the time for it.
