LIR: ML. It's a decent deal. $599 on Dell's site gets you the same Core i5, 15.6" screen, but only 4GB RAM

HP laptops are notoriously crap. Desktops, less so.

Depends. My wife's HP has been very solid. I love my HP Elitebook and the Probooks we have here
