I'm having a hard time convincing myself to submit an application at the place where my temp job currently is.

Hate might be too strong a word but I certainly don't like the job, but I was thinking about it and if I got a job there, in my current situation in 18 months I could have all of my credit card debt paid off and I could use the dental benefits to have the large amount of dental work done that I need that I've been putting off because I can't afford it.
It's not like there have been any offers for another job in the film programming field and even if one did, chances are with the necessary move and expenses I would be lucky to just be able to tread water with my debt situation.
