No, but you live in Alberta, which doesn't have a provincial portion. Betcha many Canadians households in the 12% or more provinces get there.

Yeah, very few would ever hit $18,000 per household. That was my bad. However, most services get hit. Clothes. Cars. New homes.

not everything. and it varies by province. but generally things like groceries, no tax, resale houses, no tax, some places kids clothes, no tax. -- nm
