Sweet potato pie would be on the bottom of my list.

I love pumpkin. I always break off the upper crust (of any pie) and eat it first, just to get it out of the way. The filling is my favorite part, followed by the bottom crust. A pie I haven't tried and don't think I will is Chess Pie. It's a southern thing, apparently, and found around these parts. The first time I heard of it I looked up a recipe. Seems to be nothing but a sugar delivery device. Not that I normally object to sugar delivery devices, but Chess Pie sounds way too sweet to me.
