I was 30 miles west of the Libyan border on Monday. There was a big (not huge) crowd seeking transport back north to Tunis as we were.

I made the remark, "why the hell are there so many people in transit on a Monday evening?"
Then I got back home and heard how Libya erupted over the weekend.
It wasn't chaos but any means, but for a sleepy town that serves only the occasional commuter, I was surprised and annoyed we had to wait for a ride.
