if lots of people are constantly getting annoyed with you, and you can't figure out why, it may not be a problem with them.

I mean you in the general sense, not you specifically.
fwiw I think OAE gives her honest opinion when she posts, but she doesn't seem to know much about any of us, and as a result often comes off fairly condescending.
