I just re-watched the segment. His monologue is:

"He's got it, but it's all right. I've already got one, so I didn't need it. I'll play this game. I'll show you how smart I can be. Right on."

I also love how wounded Russell is whenever opposing players are not intimidated by him. This is another clever casting move. They went and found an even redneck-ier player to combat him.
