You know, thinking about my question on B2 and the debate that followed... Do we really want this "leave the state" strategy to become normal?

IE, if the Dems pull it on this, the Reps will fire back with a quid pro quo on some other issue. You know it will happen if the practice gets rewarded here.

But it will happen going the other way. Had the Republicans done it last year on health care in DC, would those supportive of the move remain so?

Rather appropriately, if you're a big fan of unions and their tactics, 'going on strike' isn't going to seem that unnatural or abhorrent.
