I could be wrong but I figure ratings are like box office. Weekend box office isn't a bomb because the people who went Fri didn't go Sun.

I figure ratings are low because people didn't start watching, not because they started watching and said "oh, this episode is bad" and then you can read the ratings and say "the numbers are low because the quality of that particular episode was low."
