Geez, what is wrong with our high schools? Just looked at recent HS grads from our feeder HS district and their placement test results...

This is for students that graduated from HS in 2010 and actually took classes here in Fall 2010.

Reading: 68% required remedial classes
English: 58% required remedial classes
Math: 73% required remedial classes

Remedial = classes that do not count for any degree and do not transfer to state 4 year schools

This is not a poor county. This is the north end of Silicon Valley.
