Guests should not be expected to share the cost. Otherwise they'd be called hosts.

Or co-hosts.

But if people are expecting their rooms to be covered, they're dreaming.

The host should be responsible for the facility and the food/entertainment. Beyond that the guests are responsible for costs incurred.
