you tell people the plan, they understand the plan costs will change for them based on attendance and it's malleable within a realistic range.
I've never seen anyone who has a very rigid concept of costs before an event except the shitty bachelor party in vegas that Ed had food poisoning during and I faked food poisoning to get away from. They were a disaster.
