I understand it will help the film/Weinsteins make more money, but this sort of bothers me a bit.

The scene that's being cut (the one w/the heavy use of the word 'fuck') was originally written that way for a reason. He's not using the word in a disgusting, base or insulting way. He's using it to learn how to *talk*, ffs - while at the same time expressing and expelling years of a lifetime full of frustration and anxiety. The word provides a release and relief. The arc of the scene (including the usage of the word) is designed to allow the audience to feel the weight of the world lifting off his shoulders in that moment. And because of the humor, the audience is also allowed in that moment to share in his relief. No one is going to be damaged or diminished if they hear this particular fricative used in this capacity. Jeebus, the F word isn't going to break anybody.
