I think the only reason he's live is that he is a pretty smart guy with a lot of policy ideas...I think the American people are going to start to look

for people with ideas when they realize slogans ain't solving shit.
I don't think he's a favorite by any means, but I'd not eliminate him when the rest of the GOP primary'ites are all flawed.
Romney's basically not a GOPer with his signature issues; Huckabee's a charmer, but he's the ideological fringe and thus not electable; Palin's got astronomical negatives but she might be live only becuase she's also got a bedrock support...Pawlenty and Daniels; no one knows them so they face an uphill climb even as they might be the best options.
Newt could slide in; unlikely, but possible. i give him 5-10% chance.
