He played bureaucrat patsy to help get his former soldiers killed in a war he didnn't believe in.

I honestly put him only slightly ahead of Rummy & Cheney & Wolfowitz in the hierarchy of letting them burn in hell.
His job was to try to prevent war, something he actually had experience in...and he rolled over for guys who between them had roughly 170 reasons for ducking service.
If anyone in the Bush White House knew the full story of what this push meant, it was him and he let it happen; and 4k american men and women didn't come back in large part to his words.
