my friend amy, when she was really broke, would call up the customer service line for every manufacturer she could and give feedback. even if she said

nice things, she always got goodies.

guiltless gourmet sent her a case each of chips and salsa for a call saying that she was truly disappointed they'd discontinued an item.

she ate for almost free for a year.
