I waited an hour and fifteen minutes for a freakin' bus to show up (foolishly thinking that one had to arrive 'in just a few minutes') until a group of about a dozen boisterous college kids wandered by. They'd walked from the transit center two miles away. After waiting there for 45 minutes for a bus, they decided they'd just start walking and wait for the bus to drive up behind them and pick them up.

So, I called taxi companies and friends until my friend, Brian, came and picked me up and brought me home. I bought him a case of very good beer for his troubles.
