I'll have to go back and look at the filings (I downloaded them from the internets), but I remember thinking WB had pretty much nailed the case shut.

Or, at the very least, was capable of pushing the matter into trial and delaying a decision until well after the movie premiered. The fact that the judge essentially ruled that trial would be unnecessary is what's really stunning.
