I think something happened in the transition between the various companies where people just completely forgot that Fox had bought the rights in the days long before the Time Warner-AOL conglomerate bought DC Comics... but Warners should have tried to pay off Fox before it went this far because now Fox knows there's a lot of buzz and hype for this movie and they'll fight tooth and nail to get as much as they can.... and Fox might be the only company who has lawyers as good as Warners'
